What Tally is

Tally is a competition platform for tracking investing habits with a friend. It connects to your brokerage in read-onlymode via SnapTrade and shows you and your opponent how you're doing. It's a scoreboard, not a broker.

What Tally is not

• Not a financial advisor.We don't tell you what to buy, sell, or hold. AI recaps and the Coach are commentary on what happened, not advice.
• Not a broker.We can't place trades. The integration is read-only.
• Not a tax service. Snapshots are approximations for competition scoring, not statements.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe. If you suspect someone else got in, change it from /forgot-password or contact us. You must be at least 18 or the legal age in your jurisdiction to use Tally.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Tally to harass or defraud anyone.
• Don't try to game the leaderboards by manipulating snapshots or impersonating someone else.
• Don't reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise mess with the service.

Liability

Tally is provided as-is. We'll do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we can't guarantee uptime or that brokerage data is always perfectly synced. You agree that we're not liable for any losses related to investment decisions you make, whether you use Tally or not.

Changes

We may change these terms. If we do, we'll tell you. Continued use after the change means you accept it.
